Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology provides excellent hostel facilities to the students. There are in total five hostels, one for girls having capacity of 450 girls and rest four for boys having capacity of 966 boys. All the hostels have their individual mess, club cum common room, guest room etc. One girls hostel of capacity 300 girls is under construction.

Infrastructure
Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology hostels are provided with 24 hours electricity supply through special provisions. Besides this facilities of invertors have been provided in dining hall, club rooms, guest rooms etc. Adequate water supply arrangements for drinking and other uses have been provided. Water coolers and water purifiers have also been installed in all the hostels to provide safe drinking water to hostel inmates.

University construction branch takes care of building and infrastructure regularly.

Hostel Environment
Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is known for its marvelous hostel buildings and premises, having lush green environment all around. All hostels have large size central courtyard, used by the students for casual chatting, games and sunbath in winters. Each hostel building is spread in large sized plots having three building blocks. Two residential blocks and central block having mess, kitchen, store and common room cum clubs.

Mess and Dining
Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology is known for its magnificent dining facilities in very affordable charges. Mess provides very delicious and hygienic food to the hostellers. Mess menus are prepared by the students. Mess management and procurements are also managed by the students themselves under the supervision of wardens, on purely no profit, no loss basis. Food raw materials are procured from Central and State Government agencies and from best available vendors/ shops of town. In case of illness, students are provided with the diet recommended by doctor. As per the requirement, students are also provided with evening tea as well as late night tea with snacks.
Vending machines for tea, coffee, soup, cold drinks, are also being installed.

Club and Common Room
All the hostels have their individual Common Room cum Club, providing ample space and facilities of audio-visual entertainment with L.C.DTV & audio systems. Every hostel has separate dish antenna, providing facilities for viewing all available TV channels.

All the famous national and regional newspapers are available to the students in common rooms. Besides newspapers, magazines relating to various subjects, sports, general knowledge, current affairs, electronics, films etc are also made available to students to provide opportunity for their overall development. Few hostels have maintained a small library also.

Sports and Games

Healthy mind resides in healthy body, keeping this in context, hostels provide ample facilities for various games and sports. Indoor games like chess, carom, table tennis are provided in common rooms. Facilities for outdoor games like, volley ball, football, badminton, basketball, cricket, etc. are also provided.
Frequent inter hostel and intra hostel tournaments are also organized to motivate students to take part in sports and games.
Billiard table has been added in K. S. Krishnan hall, which has become a star attraction.
Small gym facilities have also been provided in few hostels, this facility is further being upgraded.

Rooms
Deenbandhu Chhocu Ram University of Science and Technology provides best residential accommodation to its students. Students reside in single seated very spacious rooms. Rooms are very well ventilated, have individual balconies for over viewing magnificent greenery all around. Rooms have toilets in close vicinity providing comfortable use. Rooms and other hostel buildings are regularly painted and whitewashed and are maintained properly. Each room provides an excellent space for studying, resting and a very comfortable living.
Every room is furnished with a bed, study desk and a study chair. All rooms are provided with ceiling fans and socket for charging Mobile/Laptop etc.

Guest Rooms
All the hostels have their individual guest rooms to facilitate parents/relatives occasionally visiting students. In acute emergencies these guest rooms are also used when parents have to reside with ill/sick student.These rooms are also used for warden - students meeting, warden -parents meeting.
