 Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, located on National Highway No. 1 (G. T. Road) 48 KM from ISBT, New Delhi towards Chandigarh, with a sprawling campus of 273 acres, has been developed on the modern principles of planning and architecture with separate zones for academics, residence and recreation. The University envisions facilitating and promoting technical and management education with special emphasis on emerging research areas. The University further proposes to tie up with eminent national and international universities for research and higher education so that students and faculty may get the exposure to the complexity of the corporate environment and deliver effectively in different and difficult situations in a more altruistic way.

University Computer Centre was established in the university with an objective to provide central computing and internet facilities to students, teachers and staff members.
A separate new building on green building concept has been proposed and the foundation stone has been laid down by the Honble Chief Minister Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda
